Todd Motter

Trumpet, Vocals, Arranger


Todd is one of the first-call lead trumpet players in Atlanta and the Southeast.

He has performed all across the country with such notables as The O-Jays,

The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Lee Greenwood, and the Four Tops, to name a few.

His lead trumpet work has also been heard on TBS and Sports USA television networks

and on many Nashville and Atlanta-based recordings. As an arranger,

his work can be heard on Word, Allegis, Llilenas, and Dark Moon record labels.

Marty Martin

Trumpet, Vocals


Marty is a Graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He performs in Atlanta with many of the top bands in town. He has performed with Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Mary Wilson, Ben E. King and many others. Marty can be heard in the Mt. Paran Church orchestra most Sundays.

Dave Rickard

Saxophone, Arranger

Originally from Omaha, NE, Dave has studied saxophone, composition, orchestration and improvisation with Jerry Coker, Bill Scarlett, Walter Hawthorne, Nick Brignola, and others.  He has played with the United States Air Force Bands, Temptations/4 Tops, Joe Williams, Nick Brignola, Bobby Shew, Dominic Allen,  and made the rounds of Ringling, Holiday on Ice and cruise ships, along with jazz engagements with his own ensembles.  Dave lives in Woodstock, GA with his wife, Kelly, and has 3 grown sons, all of which are also active musicians – the apple falls near the tree!


Phil Guice



Phil has enjoyed making music now for over forty years! After retiring his marching shoes used in the DCI top twelve drum and bugle corps, the Spirit of Atlanta and in the highly respected Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners, Phil has remained a steadfast freelance musician and arranger in numerous Atlanta organizations such as The Atlanta Trombone Ensemble – Slide by Slide, Zephyr Brass, Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra, Mount Paran Church orchestra and the XZALT Swing band. When not on stage, Phil can often be found in the studio, laying down tracks for Nashville producers like Joe Heilberger, the group Chicago’s James Matcheck and Rodney Mills of the Word recording label.
